Drawing is my first passion but I use mixed media to achieve a variety of effects. I combine a mix of traditional techniques but often adopt digital tools to push the final outcome.
My inspiration comes from wherever I find texture, structure and vibrant colour. I see my work as a composed, streamlined and optimistic interpretation of what I see around me.
The more I experiment with media combinations the more potential I find for new work. The work on show is a combination of pencil, collage, acrylic, watercolour, gouache, ink, acetate, polypropylene and Photoshop manipulation.
I studied Fine Art, Graphics, Photography and Animation at college before working in the media industry in London for 10 years. I now teach Art and Design and exhibit my work in the London and Surrey area.
